'Journey to C' Clarifies the License of Addition

Bristol Event

Bristol was the latest city to host one of Edgetech's nationwide series of free 'Journey to C' events. “This venue was another hit with over 60 delegates attending the day,” explains Alan Fielder, Director of Sales and Marketing at Edgetech. “We had a lot of interest in all our experts - Giles Willson from the British Fenestration Ratings Council, Richard Bate from Buildcheck and Andy Jones and I from Edgetech, but when it came to the Question and Answer session at the end of the day, attendees were particularly interested in finding out more about the License of Addition from the BFRC. Bristol was the penultimate date for 'Journey to C' in the UK - the final seminar is on Wednesday 14th April at the Eden Project in Cornwall where special guest, James Strawbridge will also be attending.

“Bristol proved a useful day for all delegates - here's just some of the feedback we received on the day:”

“I attended the 'Journey to C' seminar in Bristol hoping to learn about what we need to do to comply with the proposed legislation, ahead of October, because there are a lot more differentials in timber manufacturing. For example we do a lot of specialist manufacturing to suit specific projects, so none of the windows we make are to a standard design. The day was full of very good information that I can take away to apply to our business.” Colin Frayling, Hawker Joinery Ltd
